"The Mind" 1998 20"x30" Oil

Part of a triptych "Mind, Body, & Soul". Each was draw in an improvisational way and brought to life on its own. Michelangelo said his sculptures were already in the stone he just knocked away the excess stuff, well its kind of the same idea. There is a female and male side to the face, so much so that it becomes two people facing each orther. The hair becomes silhouettes of my family members. The other two paintings are in a portfolio somewhere but if you want to see them just ask.
